Youth Violence Awareness Day

Event details

Cheshire West and Chester Youth Service in collaboration with The JJ Effect and Street Doctors are raising awareness about the impact of youth violence

We are offering a free award-winning presentation by The JJ Effect organisation and the StreetDoctors team will be on hand to teach practical first aid for impact wounds. Local organisations will be part of a marketplace, offering information and guidance on how to support young people who may have been affected or impacted by knife crime.

The Youth Service and young people team will be around throughout the day for advice.

Take part in a music beat making workshop by Make Mouth Music, a boxing demonstration by Weapons Down Wirral, and arts by Devious Designs.

Please note: The JJ Effect presentation is suitable for 14+ as it contains strong language and graphic imagery.
