Celebrating 100 Years of Rural Campaigning
Exhibition
Event details
This exhibition showcases the winners and runners up from Campaign for Rural Protection Cheshire’s photography competition which celebrated the 100th birthday of the charity. From vibrant landscapes to wildlife and working farms, the winning entries highlight the very best of our beautiful region.
For 100 years, CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) has worked to protect our countryside, which provides us with our food, gives nature a home and is a vital tool in the fight against climate change. The photographs in this exhibition reflect CPRE’s key campaigns over the years.
The charity also delivers practical projects to improve landscapes, enhance nature and strengthen local places. By working alongside communities, they demonstrate that positive change is both achievable and lasting, and by growing a diverse movement, they empower more people to speak up, take action and make a difference.
