In the wake of Netflix’s Adolescence and rising concern around the influence of online misogyny, this special free event at Storyhouse Women Festival offers practical, honest guidance on how we talk to boys and men about gender, power, and respect.

This interactive panel brings together activist and photographer Eliza Hatch (Cheer Up Luv) and the team from Beyond Equality, a national organisation working with men and boys to challenge harmful norms and create lasting change.

Together, they’ll explore:

• Why misogyny is on the rise—and how it spreads online

• How we challenge sexist attitudes without creating more resistance

• What it means to be an active bystander in everyday life

• How to empower boys and men to be part of the solution

You’ll leave with tools, language and real-world strategies to continue the conversation—in your classrooms, your families, your friendship circles and beyond.
