Rhymetime
Rhymes and stories for young children with the library team
Event details
Please note, the last Rhymetime session before Christmas will be on Thursday 4 December. We’re back as normal on Tues 6 January, see you then!
Rhyme Time sessions are led by the library team and help to develop children’s language, listening skills, concentration, social skills and self confidence. They involve familiar rhymes and fun actions. We use props (such as puppets and characters) to help children focus and become involved.
It is important that parents/carers join in and show children how to look, listen and join in themselves by being good role models – children learn how to behave by watching adults around them. The sessions are free, drop in and suitable for pre school children.
