Storyhouse Elders: Monthly Event

A series of monthly events taking place on the first Monday of every month 10.30 – 12noon in the Garret Bar.

Monday 7 October: Oral Storytelling Event with Triple Spiral Storytellers

Led by the people who run the Triple Spiral Storytellers please join us for an informal oral storytelling workshop to share traditional stories, folk tales, myths and legends which are all told from the heart, not read from a book. Experienced and novice storytellers welcome. Listeners are especially welcome. Complete with Tea, Coffee and Cake.

Monday 4 November: Chester Literature Festival

At this meet up you will hear from the staff at Storyhouse who will tell you what they are most looking forward too in the festival! A selection of the books will be available to browse and there will be time to chat about the events you would like to attend. Everyone is welcome whether you have been to the literature festival before or not. Take this opportunity to chat over a brew and a piece of cake.

Monday 2 December.

Spend the morning with Liza Hinze – passionate culinary enthusiast. At this December meet up you’ll learn how to make a Mulled Winter Spiced Tea, play Grandma’s Gift or Santa’s Surprise? a Festive Mince Mystery Taste Test and get excited about Love Food Hate Waste with a lovely interactive chat about leftovers!
