The Healing Pages Book Club

Event details

We read to know we are not alone.” – C.S.Lewis

Bibliotherapy is a literature-based support option, for those wishing to explore their life difficulties and challenges through the art of reading and writing.

Shana and James, two qualified and registered counselling psychotherapists, invite you to share this monthly space.

Our plan: use this book club as an inclusive, supportive, explorative space for all members. We’ll chat about our monthly read, discuss what the themes and storyline brought up for us, and use the time to therapeutically explore and support one another.

Although this isn’t group counselling, exploring our life experiences alongside literature may be an emotionally-charged environment. We welcome sharing of all kinds, and as counselling practitioners we will be there to support these therapeutic discussions.
