Part of Storyhouse Women

Closing Storyhouse Women’s festival with a BANG, we’ve got a comedy night from our resident comedy collective, TOKEN. in collaboration with Bradford University’s Theatre In The Mill.

Headlining is the incomparable Seeta Wrightson (BBC New Comedy Awards Semi-Finalist, BBC Radio); proud northern gal, a mixed race, mixed up Bradfordian.

Hosted by TOKEN. Comedy Collective founder, Lulu Simons, with her trademark cutting wit and waggish charm. Also featuring TOKEN Comedy Collective members, including opening act Mary Cross, queer comedian, podcaster and radio presenter. As well as writer Emma Loves Robots and novelist Maddy Templeman.

If that’s not enough, Theatre In The Mill (Bradford University’s Comedy collective) brings powerhouses of homegrown talent Shugufta Choudhry and Fiona Meddings. Theatre in The Mill is becoming the hub for Global Majority women to find their comedic voices with expert guidance from Seeta Wrightson.
