A group for adults passionate about writing, be it epic fantasy, poetry, novels or short stories.

Writers of all abilities and levels of experience get together in the meeting room at Storyhouse to share work, learn and motivate.

Monthly meetings involve short, timed writing exercises, utilising various prompts to put words down on paper and keep writer’s block at bay.

The group self published a first anthology of short pieces in 2025, with a sequel currently in the works.

The original group meets on the fourth Thursday of the month and is currently at capacity. Due to popular demand, a sister group – WriteTimeWritePlace has been created and meets on the third Monday of the month.
