Young Leaders 18-25 will start in the next few weeks.
Are you aged 18-25? Do you want to gain real life job skills, experience, make new friends and have a great time? Young Leaders is for you!
What do young leaders do?
You will get an insight into the workings of the different departments at Storyhouse including marketing, producing events, customer service, backstage, fundraising and running activities. You will work in a small team to produce your own event and directly work alongside Storyhouse staff. It is an opportunity to explore different roles and find your passions and build confidence in the workplace.
You will receive mentoring, training and be given practical opportunities to help you develop, create and grow both professionally and personally.
All Young Leaders will have the opportunity to complete their Arts Award.
When do they meet?
The Young Leaders programme lasts around 4 to 5 months. This group meet on a weekday between 2pm and 5pm.
Covid-19 programme update:
As restrictions ease, we will be aiming to meet the group in person at Storyhouse. To begin, we may need to run this programme online using Zoom. All Young Leaders will be consulted and considered when moving from virtual sessions to in the building.
