What is Storyhouse Youth Theatre?

Youth Theatre is for young people interested in experiencing and performing theatre. It is an opportunity that requires no existing experience, all you need is passion, enthusiasm and energy.

Workshops are built around creating a fun, inclusive environment giving young people the opportunity to work with professionals to develop theatre skills, build confidence and work creatively with other young people.

It is full of exciting opportunities for young people including performances, trips, summer workshops and insight into the theatre industry.

When do we meet?

The Youth Theatre runs between September and July in three 12-week terms, each age group meets once a week during term time.

During performance terms additional rehearsals may be required, details of these will be sent to you at that time and no additional charge is applicable.

  • Youth Theatre 8-10s Saturday mornings or Monday evenings
