The Agency Chester

Welcome to The Agency Chester, Produced by Storyhouse, working within Lache.

Every year, we run programmes designed to empower young people to become the creative leaders and changemakers of their communities.

The Agency is for young people aged 15 to 25 with an idea that could make their area better. We provide the training, support and investment needed to help turn those ideas into reality.

Applications are now open for The Agency Chester 2026/27

Are you, or someone you know, aged 15 to 25 with an idea you want to get off the ground? Turn your ideas into reality with 12 weeks of support and the chance to secure up to £2,000 in funding.

Delivered by Storyhouse and The Agency of Change, The Agency Chester supports young people from Lache to create positive change in their community. Through a 12-week programme, participants develop their ideas using creativity, collaboration and practical skills.

At the end of the programme, participants pitch their ideas to a panel of industry experts. Three projects will receive £2,000 in funding, along with a further 16 weeks of support to bring their ideas to life.

Along the way, young people will develop valuable skills in project management, networking, creative problem solving and presentation.
