Storyhouse is open from 8am – 11pm on Mondays to Saturdays, 9.30am to 11pm on Sundays. Address is Storyhouse, Hunter Street, CH1 2AR. Essential travel information here.
Details of timings and intervals on event pages. All stage events start at the advertised time, cinema events tend to have 20 mins of adverts, expect family screenings and special events. Event pages have all this detail.
Latecomers and loo breaks
Don’t worry, we’ll let you in although you will have to wait until there is a suitable pause. Leaving the theatre close to an interval may mean you have to wait until the second half to come back in. We understand the need to leave a show sometimes, but ask you to be considerate to others as you do so.
For some of our outdoor shows we have weather policies, you can find them on the relevant pages and websites for those events.
Is rare, we will try to get hold of you using the details you have given us.
Food and Drink
Click here for information on The Kitchen. You are welcome to eat your own, expect for hot food, in the library spaces, but not in The Kitchen.
Films have BBFC classifications (PG, 12A, 18 etc) and denote violence, language, sensitive themes etc. If the same occurs on an unclassified film or stage show, we will try to give you as much guidance as we are able. 12A in the cinema means that an over 18 needs to be in the party supervising.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult for ticketed events. Some workshops differ and the event page will give this information. We don’t set a minimum age for children coming into Storyhouse unaccompanied, however as a parent you are responsible for their them, until of course you are not..
Not in the theatre or cinema. Please be conscious of others elsewhere.
