Storyhouse Elders
A festival celebrating ageing creatively- Storyhouse, Garret Theatre, The Kitchen, Storytelling Room
Following the success of Storyhouse Elders festival in October 2022, we have launched a new series of monthly events. All of which offer the opportunity to meet people and socialise.
All of the events are FREE and include a hot drink.
Storyhouse Elders explores and challenges the societal perceptions of age and ageing and the impact of creating and experiencing art in later life.
At Storyhouse we believe everyone is an artist and it is never too late to try something new, to return to a creative passion or to experience and celebrate the work of older artists. As a society we have much to learn from the older members of our community and creativity is the perfect vehicle to share and connect.
Storyhouse Elders festival will return in October 2023. If you’d like to be involved in this year’s festival, you can contact Nicola, our communities manager by email at nicola@storyhouse.com.
